I'm traveling through New Zealand for 3 months alone. I'll be on both the North Island, and South Island. And plan to post here when I can.

Auckland

So the hostel I'm staying in is awesome. It's 7 floors with the kitchen on the top and the roof has tables and a hot tub and it's right on queens street which is the main down town part of Auckland. My camera isn't working or I would post pictures. Yesterday I spent walking around Auckland with my friend Andor, he's an electronic music composer from Holland. Auckland is full of really nice people. Auckland has an equivalent of Seattle's Space Needle called The Sky Tower. People bungee jump off of it.
It's strange in a different country because now I don't say "Oh, I'm from Idaho!" now it's "I'm from America!"
Last night we went to a bar called Fat Camel and I played in this crazy game called Killer Pool with a bunch of people and almost won, it was a close game. There's no drinking age in New Zealand, it's not that exciting for me since I don't drink, but I can go into bars.
Today I'm going to figure out where I'm headed next, I may stay two more nights in Auckland or one. I just made some delicious eggs this morning, and I'm ready.

  1. Cool: Where are the next options?
Sounds like you are making good friends very easily :) You can be from America -- but I like saying I'm from The States, give it a try. ^ - ^

  4. Then why did Noah say the camera isn't working? Why is he not posting any photos?

  5. "Fat Camel"? Unusual name. Anyway, good for you for almost winning the game! Sounds like an awesome hotel-- I'm jealous. Lots of love, Cousin Carly
